Welcome to LivingPartnership.org -

                                  Home of the TRIP Program!

The Partnership is an exempt 501(c)(3) organization, incorporated in 1991, that works to ensure the independence and dignity of the elderly and persons with disabilities, their families and caregivers through education and access to empowering services and resources.

 Working closely with county agencies, and nearly 200 other organizations serving adults and persons with disabilities, the Partnership’s current programs include:

  • the publication of the quarterly Meeting the Challenges health promotion journal of informative and insightful articles to educate, empower, and inspire readers to healthy behaviors and success in the maintenance of an independent life style;

  • TOOLS is an educational and advocacy initiative to promote public awareness of useful and readily available "Independence Products" that make continuing to live in our homes easier and safer;

  • the production of a health and successful aging educational video series;

  • the Tai Chi Education and Research Institute provides training in the practice of Tai Chi for people who are interested in improving and maintaining their health;

  • the maintenance of the Vital Connections  Internet portal with over 2,000 vital links to special resources for adults, young and older, people with disabilities, families and caregivers

  • co-sponsorship, with the Beverly Foundation and the AAA Foundation for Traffic Safety, of a national membership network for programs providing supplemental transportation alternatives for older adults and people with disabilities.  Read all about it and view the video at www.stpexchange.org

  • and the award-winning TRIP supplemental transportation program that encourages volunteer ride-sharing with people who would otherwise be homebound and isolated and provides administrative assistance to other organizations and agencies that operate, or would like to establish, similar user friendly and convenient transportation services.............
